Here in the Maltese Islands, almost every church holds great treasures of art and architecture. One such case is the beautiful priory and church of Saint Mark just outside the old capitol of Mdina. With a history of almost 600 years, the community of the augustinian monks have been a steadfast example of faith and love. The actual monastery was destroyed a couple of times during the Turkish Siege but every time the monks together with the community of faithful rebuilt from the ashes an even more beautiful house for the Lord and his people. This tiny publication that I worked have been working on with the Augustinian community is a witness to all this history.
